I sit with four people at work and they all (yes thats right all four of them) have a kindle.
I sit on the train in the evening and I always see at least one person with one...
I am beginning to feel like the odd one out!
If I regularly read books then I would get one as they are a really good idea, but I prefer to listen to things instead...
...LOL I think I will accidently kick the next person I see reading a kindle just for good measure ;o)

I think you can't beat the feel of a good book, paperback or hardback, and I'm not keen on gadgety things anyway.
My Mum has one and they are very good, particularly if you read a lot. However, if you don't then there's not much point.
You can get audio enabled books for the Kindle, but then you can just put one on an MP3 player as well, so you're just as quick (and cheaper) using one of those.
Kick them extra hard for me ;)
I don't see myself ever getting a kindle because reading a book is an experience. Turning the pages, the smell of the paper, and so on...
I have the Kimdle app on my iPhone but iBooks is so much better. I like the idea of being able to carry books with me just incase I have a spare moment.
I put a book on cd onto my mp3 player. You could do that and listen to it on the train or at lunch and people would not know.

Eileen & Kelly - something has to be said for reading a proper book ;o)
Al - LOL is your Mum quite technically minded or did she need you to help her set it up? ;o)
Captain - that is a good point ;o)
Connie - I tend to listen more to podcasts and music - but I have been known tom listen to the Harry Potter books ;o)
No, she needed help! She's got the hang of it now.
Personally I use the Kindle for Android app on my phone so I pretty much always have something to read with me. Handy for those times when there's nobody in the canteen at work or at least nobody I want to talk to!
