the things I saw yesterday

Yesterday on my way to and from dropping Evie off at pre-school I saw these things ;o)

In the morning (dropping her off) I saw these interesting rooftops and thought that they would be perfect for this weeks Project flickr architectural angles.

And then collecting Evie from pre-school I saw some freezing bridesmaids waiting for the bride

I didnt catch sight of the bride but I did see the lorry that she was going to arrive in ;o)

I also saw that some of the thicker branches from this cut down tree had been taken by someone ;o)

On Friday when I picked Evie up from pre-school I checked her drawer and found a picture in it for us to take home ;o)

So I said to Evie "oh, its a picture for Mummy" and she said "no, its for Daddy"

So when we got home I took the picture out of the bag and saw that it said "this is my Mummy..."

So I then said to Evie "its a picture of Mummy" and she then said no "its a picture of Daddy"

When James got home from work she said to him "Ive done you a picture - its a picture of you"

Im still claiming that its a picture of me because it says so ;o)

Last weeks project flickr was words, so I added the second photo to the group ;o)

it was complete with a guitar playing vicar

This weeks Project Flickr is graveyards, so I had 2 nearby options, either go into town and do the graveyard in Chelmsford Cathedral or All Saints Church (hee hee it even has Sunday services that you can download!  BTW I will not be downloading them ;o)) which is very nearby.

As I didnt fancy going into town we (or rather I) walked and Evie sat in the buggy ;o)

When we got there there was a banner outside advertising their Summer Special, so I had a walk around the graveyard deciding what would make a good photo when an old lady came out and asked if I was "lost" so I told her no and that I as just having a look around.

She then told me about the "summer special" and how it was on at the moment if we wanted to go in, I thought to myself why not, Evie will enjoy herself...

...there was a horseshoe of tables and we went to the first one which was "treasure box "decorating ;o)

there was also "coloured sand" to make patterns on paper (we didnt get time to do that).

We also didnt get time to do a bag for Evie either, but we did do a fan ;o)

It then ended with singing songs...

...my god is big (which I didnt know) and hes got the whole world in his hands which I only knew the chorus to.

And then there were prayers.

It reminded me back to when I was 17 and me and my friend Emma got talked into by another friend going to the Pentecostal Church Youth group and we both said that if they start praying we are getting out of there...

...of course they did start praying but we couldnt really sneak out ;o) and our friend said after that it wasnt normally "that bad" still, we didnt go back again ;o)

14 days to upload

Almost three weeks ago I did a video motion picture of Evie in the back garden using my smartphone.

I uploaded it using the flickr app, then it stopped uploading it two weeks ago when I uploaded a photo for project flickr so I started uploading it again and it finally uploaded yesterday ;o)

All in all it took two weeks to upload!

The other day James bought Evie a frisbee...

I am typing my post whilst waiting for 7 am and for the tickets to go on sale ;o)

As Evie had such a fantastic time last year I want to make sure that we go again this year ;o)

As my operation is the week before I am hoping to get tickets for the Thursday, and James' Mum & Dad are going to come with me and so can do any of the lifting required ;o)

Off to download some podcasts now as it is still 6.38 am

Its 6.40 am now so have just taken a photo of my blog for project flickr as this weeks subject is work/chores

Its 7 am and I am now waiting in a virtual waiting room!

7.09 am just went to the toilet and I am still in the waiting room!

I ended up trying again (as was still in the waiting room) and managed to get to the tickets booking screen but then wasnt able to get any further than the credit card payments screen...

...I ended up trying a further three times and then tried via Internet Explorer (as I was and am using chrome) and it worked.

We now have booked our tickets ;o)

This weeks project flickr is vegetables...

so yesterday morning I took a photo of all of the vegetables in the fridge saying "which one do I have tonight" ;o)

I decided in the end after much deliberating to go for the beans ;o)

On Friday I noticed a dent in my thigh.  I showed it to James when he got home from work and he said that he thought that it had been from where something had been pressing into my leg (I told him that it had been there all day) and he doesnt think that it is anything to worry about.

I googled it (or rather because I use yahoo yahood it) and a few people have said that they have the same thing but no-one seems to know what it is.

But I keep thinking of Emma and the fact that she left going to the doctors too late, and I want to carry on being a bad influence on Evie ;o)

So I am going to call the doctors and make an appointment today.

This weeks Project Flickr is water...

...as it was absolutely pouring with rain I took a photo of the puddles outside ;o)

and then afterwards we got a double rainbow ;o)

Yesterday Evie had another swimming lesson she was actually kicking her feet (without me prompting her) but I did have to remind her to do her arms ;o)

Last night Evie started singing Happy Birthday - we were singing it at Tumble Tots so we started singing it to her toy dog ;o)

I will try and video motion picture her singing it ;o)

Last night I was putting Evie to bed when she kept on saying "wait Mummy pool" she then added downstairs (and I realised she meant waiting for me while I went down the steps into the pool) and she added dangerous after I said that it was dangerous at the pool so she has to wait for me) It even took an extra 10 minutes to read her this book ;o)

For 2014 Project Flickr is having monthly tasks as well as the weekly tasks for January it is 12 months of the same image - you have to take a photo of the same thing every month from the same position on roughly the same day so you can see how much it has changed over the year) so naturally I chose Evie ;o)

After having her bath last night Evie was sitting on the sofa waiting for In The Night Garden to start, we kept on looking at each other and Evie would giggle ;o)

So I got out my camera (I had left it on black & white for this weeks Project Flickr project) so I also added this photo of Evie giggling ;o)

This weeks Project Flickr is bokeh as with all of my photos its always hit and miss as to if it comes out well...

...yesterday I was giving Evie her dinner (or rather her finger foods before her dinner) and I decided to give the bokeh another shot ;o)

And it actually came out well ;o)

Evie had a cut up slice of pear for her dessert and she held out the fork so that she could feed lima (hes a hand puppet) so I got the camera out again ;o)

I really wanted to find a dog poop so I could call it TOWIE but thanks to considerate dog owners they are a rarity ;o)

Anyway so I found some suitable rubbish and took a photo of that instead ;o)

It is officially a "no news day" in my life as I had a dream last night about project flickr, this weeks theme is horizons...

...I was in a class somewhere on a upper floor fourth perhaps (I know that I was in a class because I couldnt just open the window and take the photo) and I was looking out of the window and saw a beautiful sunrise on the horizon  and thought to myself once this class is over the moment will be gone :o(.

We bought Evie a xylophone from Mothercare at the weekend ;o)

And as luck would have it this weeks project flickr is metal ;o)

and Evie playing with it (typically she stopped when I tried to video motion picture her)

Evies first (magna) doodle

Yesterday I bought Evie a magna doodle type toy ;o)

So I showed Evie how to use it (whilst doing another photo for Project Flickr in the process ;o))

The theme with this weeks Project Flickr is The Olympics.

With the theme in mind I was looking out for any Olympics type photos that I could take...

...and I saw the Team GB lego mini figures.

My first thought was to take a photo for the project then I thought that I could get one for Evie.

So I ended up buying three one for me and one for James too (otherwise he would only feel left out ;o)).

So I got them home.

I told James that we had bought him a present ;o)

He opened up his one and he got the tennis player, and when I opened mine I got the tennis player too!

Well at least they could have a game together ;o)

Sunday I woke up feeling weird

On Sunday I woke up and my tummy felt really weird - like I wanted to either be sick or have a poop.

I was a bit slow moving (I dont exactly move at lightening speed anyway) and James asked me if I was ok to which I said no and said how I felt.

LOL he must have been concerned because he offered to do the shopping on his own (and he absolutely HATES food shopping)!

Anyhow after doing the shopping we went into town (I was still feeling quite queasy) and we went into Starbucks and I forced myself to have a croissant with my venti skinny latte (needless to say the croissant was a bad idea).

I stayed in bed for the rest of Sunday afternoon and Monday morning (and consequently couldnt sleep last night!

Project Flickr started this week and the theme for week 1 is motion & movement - these are the photos that I have taken...
