On Monday we did go to get Evies feet measured...
...she was between an 9.5 and a 10 so she got some new shoes, I will take her to see if she needs some new tap dancing shoes tomorrow as we will be in town meeting James Mum and Dad anyway (unless my cold puts them off :)).
Yesterday Evie got her haircut, she had someone different as my hairdresser decided to take a couple of days off as she has a child too.

flat hair valentine
Yesterday I went to the hairdressers...
...when they do my hair they always use straighteners to smooth out my hair ;o)
when I come home James always gets Evie to tell me that my hair looks nice ;o)
As well as telling me that my hair looked nice Evie also said that it looked flat...
...so I asked her if she liked it looking flat and she said "no I like it when it goes up"
It reminds me of when brother #2 and my sister were little and one of them (cant remember which one) said that when I wore contact lenses that I didnt look like "Amber"!
When I picked Evie up from pre school on Friday one f the ladies told Evie to check her drawer as there were some bits in there and when I looked in there there was a valentines card ;o)

days #5 & #6 two pairs down
After the success of Evies massive poop on Thursday I stupidly thought that she would be back to pooping normally...
...but no!
Yesterday she was still saying that her bottom hurt and that there was poop up her bottom.
So we kept on sitting her on the toilet or the potty, she would sit there for a couple of minutes and would say that she was finished!
She was sitting on the sofa and I could see that she was straining and so I got her to get off the sofa and I could see a mark on her skirt so I carried her upstairs to the bathroom so we could see the damage.
Not wishing to bore you the "dirty" details I had to wash out her skirt and top and threw away her first pair of knickers.
Then last night I was doing my dinner and Evie came in (not sure what she wanted) but I could see a bulge in the back of her knickers.
I then sat her on the potty and carried her knickers upstairs to flush the contents down the toilet and threw away her second pair of knickers too! She also did some more in her potty so got a chocolate heart that a little boy gave her yesterday at her swimming class he gave them to all of the girls for Valentimes Day last week but were a week late because the class got cancelled.
As they have 25% off clothing in our supermarket this weekend I bought some more knickers for Evie in age 3-4 and 8 pairs of leggings for her school bag and her changing bag which are now waiting to be washed ;o)
...but no!

first easter egg
As Valentines Day is now over and done with it means that there are more Easter Eggs for me to chose from ;o)
So this morning while we were doing the shop I picked up three small eggs and let Evie chose which one she would like ;o)
I held for her a Peppa Pig egg, a milky bar egg, and a chocolate buttons egg...
...she chose the Peppa Pig egg ;o)
I shall have to make sure that I hide it somewhere in case I get peckish and eat it for her beforehand ;o)

common genes
After finishing Evies packet of my first muesli on Sunday we then tried her on Monday on wakey wakey the round ones and after some coaxing I was feeding them to her one at a time ;o)
Yesterday morning she had some crumpet as usual and then I went and did her some cereal ;o)
I have been letting Evie put her hands in her food so that she can feel what it feels like (hee hee Gordon Ramsay does it so why shouldnt Evie ;o)).
She started picking out the "o's" and was putting them in her mouth ;o)
Then came the common bit...
...she picked up a bit of crumpet and was dipping it in the milk and then (even more common) she put it in her mouth! But she soon saw sense and threw it over the side ;o)
I was so relieved ;o)

Happy Valentines Day
Happy Valentines Day...
Evie woke up this morning at 5.30 for her feed, so James did her bottle and after she had finished I changed her nappy and then got her off to sleep.
Because it took so long for her to go back to sleep I was no longer tired!
So I got up and left Evie sleeping and when I got downstairs there was an envelope on the doorstep for me ;o)
I opened up the envelope and this was inside it...
...and now I feel bad for not getting James anything because we had already said that we werent going to do anything this year!

happy valentines
May your postman get a bad back from delivering all of your cards ;o)
It will be fun seeing all of the men congregating in Godiva and Hotel Chocolat...
...LOL I will be going in Hotel Chocolat tomorrow to look at their Easter goodies ;o)
Me and James stopped celebrating Valentines ages and ages ago...
...what really makes me laugh are the cards that say to my husband or wife or fiance...
...isnt the idea supposed to be that you get a card from a secret admirer?
