Evie is still stumbling over her words...
...sometimes she does it all the time and other times she just does it when she is excited.
She doesnt even do it over the same words or sounds and its all very random.
I have looked online and the NHS website and it says to seek advice if you are worried about it...
...I am not overly worried as I have read that most children grow out of it, but will go and see the health visitor in the week as James is getting anxious about it.
despite being a chocoholic I have managed to lose 4 and a half stone in 12 months. This is my diary of the highs and lows of trying to keep the weight off (or at least under reasonable control).

playing at being a dentist
Evier since I took Evie to the dentist she has been sticking things (mainly straws) into mine and James mouths (as well as her toys) ;o)
A few weeks ago while shopping we saw this and yesterday we decided to buy it for Evie even though she said that she didnt want it ;o)
She grabbed hold of the box this morning and asked what it was ;o)
So I got it out for her ;o)
I asked her if she wanted me to help her mould the teeth but she is only interested in putting the drill into his mouth ;o)

James week off
James had last week off work...
...he saw how well Evie is doing at Tumble Tots - he hasnt been since Evie moved upto the big girl class ;o)
In the mornings because Evie wakes up early I have been putting the dvd player on for her (to stop her getting bored while I am drinking my morning cup of tea and then having my shower.
As she wasnt too impressed with watching the Muppet Show DVD (I do wonder if shes mine sometimes ;o)) I put on for her!
So we popped into CEX to buy Evie some DVDs we bought her some Bob The Builder, Postman Pat and some Thomas The Tank Engine DVDs ;o)
Evie still went to pre school too on her normal days so as not to interrupt our routine.
And we also took Evie to a soft play place in Romford ;o)
He moaned about everything but think he quietly enjoyed his week off ;o)

exhausting threats
We are now having to result to threats with Evie ;o)
From threatening to take her to the hairdressers to get her hair cut short when she wont let me brush her hair, to saying that I will go downstairs when she wont take her clothes off!
It is quite exhausting ;o)

Aleksandr or Brian
I have just booked our holiday ;o)
We are going to the same place as we did last year ;o) Evie really enjoyed herself there and it was close to the beach so we decided to go again this year and crucially it is all inclusive! ;o)
So I have been looking at travel insurance
The next question was do I go for Aleksandr or Brian?
I then decided that as Evie likes doing robot impressions (I am Mummybot when Evie is Evie Robot) I would go for Brian...
...so I checked the terms and conditions and they dont let you claim a toy for Travel Insurance :o(
I then checked Compare the Market and they dont either :o(
Blooming cheek!
oh well...

downloaded music app
Yesterday I downloaded an album...
I saw the advert on the page for the Amazon Music app.
So I downloaded that too.
I now have music on my phone that I can listen to, I tried having a sneaky listen yesterday while Evie was eating her dinner of chicken nuggets with peas and carrots but as soon as I plugged in the headphones she started messing about!
While trying to upload these photos I kept on getting this message!
And this morning when I decided to give it another try I saw this message - so at least I wasnt the only person who couldnt upload yesterday ;o)

MMR eaction
On Wednesday Evie had her MMR booster jab as well as the other usual nasties.
On Thursday Evie wanted to stay in but didnt seem unwell.
On Friday she went to pre-school and I told them that she had her jabs just incase she was a bit wobbly as one of the ladies there put it.
Yesterday Evie had her breakfast ok, then she went to swimming lesson and was still ok. I gave her some medicine as she felt hot when we came home and she had spaghetti shapes and toast and was ill.
I asked her if she wanted a dessert and she said that she wanted a jelly so I gave her one.
I asked her if she was ok and she had a nap, when she woke up I asked her how she was feeling adn she said that she was ok and then she started crying and said that her "tummy hurt" so I rushed her into the bathroom and she was ill again.
I gave her some more medicine and at what should have been her dinner time she said that she wanted a snack so I gave her a custard.
And then James gave her some crisps to eat and consequently she was ill again!
We gave her some more medicine before she went to bed.
She was also ill in the night and I only realised because there was a huge yellow stain on the back of her pajamas.
She had some more medicine this morning and has so far "fingers crossed" kept down everything that she has eaten ;o)

wot no choccie button
Yesterday Evie had her pre school jabs,
I wasnt sure if Evie was taking it in when I was explaining to her what would happen, but before we went in she said that it would be a "little scratch on both arms" ;o)
As James had finished work early and we were seen late I let James come in with us (as they say why have a dog and bark yourself) and that way he can be the bad guy holding her when they do the injections.
As it was Evie didnt even cry, and they didnt give her a chocolate button either (which I was surprised about), but she did get a "I was brave" sticker.
And she didnt like the present I got for her, I opened it up for her and she said "I dont want the white one".
So while I was in the supermarket I got her a playmobil minifigure and she got a far more acceptable gangster ;o)
While we were killing some time before we went to the surgery I popped into a coffee shop and Evie was playing with the plastic giraffe that she got when we had our lunch ;o)

Ding ding round five
We have Evies 3 year 4 month jabs this afternoon.
Luckily Evies cold is now just a sniffle and a cough.
Luckily Evies cold is now just a sniffle and a cough.
I have explained to Evie as best I can about the jabs and ironically there is an episode of Get Well Soon where Deep has his jabs and it is on this afternoon!
Evie has pre school this morning and I will have to remember to bring her red record book with us and her "jabs" present ;o) oh and something chocolatey.
Last time the nurse gave her a chocolate button which went down well.

supposed to have her jabs tomorrow
Evie is supposed to have her jabs tomorrow, and on Sunday she woke up with a cold.
I will call the doctors surgery tomorrow while she is at pre school to see if it is still worth taking her in as I dont really want to be turned away after making the effort to get there...
I will get Evies lightweight buggy out when James comes home from work as it will be easier to get onto the bus.

did they give it to the right Evie?
On Friday I picked Evie up from pre-school and I saw her clutching a "good behaviour award"
I was sure that she must have bribed someone to give it to her, or that perhaps they got her confused with someone else ;o)
They told me it was because she always says please and thank you and that she washes her hands after going to the toilet.
