despite being a chocoholic I have managed to lose 4 and a half stone in 12 months. This is my diary of the highs and lows of trying to keep the weight off (or at least under reasonable control).

road safety walk
Today me & Evie have a road safety walk to go on.
I have to go to her school and a group of parents and children get spoken to about road safety :)
I just hope that Evie isnt too annoyed that it wont be going home time when I arrive :)
That's such a good idea to teach road safety with so much traffic on the roads these days. I often see the nursery-age children in their hi-viz jackets being taken down to the beach. They have to cross a very busy main road and they are ever so well behaved and walk in twos and holding hands. I hope there are no tears from Evie wanting to go home with you.
Teach the children to be careful on or near the road. Too many drivers on cell-phones, not thinking about what they are doing. Very dangerous these days.

I've been involved in some of the road safety stuff in the past. It's not been the same since the Green Cross Code Man retired.
it was really good - hopefully Evie will have more sense now while crossing the road :)
