we went into Debenhams yesterday to buy my friend a gift card for her birthday...
...I made sure that I remembered where the automatic doors were and retraced my route back.
We were just walking past the Benefit counter and a lady jumped out and asked if I wanted to try their foundation and I said "no thanks"...
...she then said that "it will only take a couple of minutes and that you really need it!"
I thought to myself "do I look that bad that I can really need foundation"
As I had time I gave in...
...she put on moisturiser, foundation and powder all extortionately priced I may add.
The lady is a Mum herself and kept on saying about how important it is to have some me time.
She asked me what I look for in my foundation and I told her that "I dont wear any" and she said to me "you will do after this!"
After she made me look "wonderful" she asked me "what would you like to purchase" and I said that "I would probably come back in another day to buy the stuff".
hee hee we met up with James and he didnt even notice the difference!

project flickr dreams
It is officially a "no news day" in my life as I had a dream last night about project flickr, this weeks theme is horizons...
...I was in a class somewhere on a upper floor fourth perhaps (I know that I was in a class because I couldnt just open the window and take the photo) and I was looking out of the window and saw a beautiful sunrise on the horizon and thought to myself once this class is over the moment will be gone :o(.

three spoons
If Evies food has large lumps in it then I chop it up with her spoon...
...Evie now copies me and chops at her food with a stabbing motion - whether it has any lumps in or not ;o)
I now also have to have three spoons when I am giving Evie her food...
...one for each of her hands and then one for me! Although the two that she are holding are never as good as the one that I am holding. She always grabs at the spoon that I am holding so there is always lots of swapping.
She is feeding herself more now also but not to the extend of the whole of anything if you get me meaning...
...still she is getting there ;o)

fathers day
Today is Fathers Day
Evie was the last of the big spenders and bought James a lego minifigure and a chocolate grow your own moustach ;o)

getting a book for Mummy to read
Me & Evie were at the library yesterday for their Rhyme Time session...
...I got there early enough to be able to get a seat and Evie was sitting on my lap and she decided to get off and sit on the floor, so I said to her "go and get a book for Mummy to read to you" so she crawled off towards the books.
The first one she tried to get she couldnt pull out (I was just about to get up to help her) and then she grabbed hold of the biggest book there.
She then proceeded to crawl back to me dragging the book with her...
...it was really funny watching her ;o)

no sharing a coke with me or Evie
For the last couple of weeks in the shops I have seen bottles of coke with names on...
...I have found James but not me or Evie :o(
So I had a look at the list and nether of our first names are on there but our middle names are on it which I suppose is better than nothing.

eight month difference
Yesterday at Gymbabes the bloke was there to film dvds...
when he was there in October last year to do a Christmas one (Evie was sitting on a sleigh) and the background showed her going through forests to see the real Santa Claus. She was very still and didnt really do much.
This time it was going on a safari the background music was Were going to the zoo, Evie was really good and was waving and reaching for the bubbles that the man was blowing ;o)
