We all know that the first batch of parsnip puree didnt go down well after I had mixed it with milk and it was too rich for her :o(
The second batch I tried I had managed to burn the parsnip so that went straight into the food waste bin.
Yesterday I got our mini blender (after I had decorated the kitchen with broccoli while using a cheap hand blender).
The result is that I now have a pot of parsnip puree waiting for Evies lunch ;o)

Third time lucky. I hope she likes parsnips..I'm not too keen on them.
All those years ago my blender was one that had a handle...I'm sure I bought it in Mothercare... no electrical gadgets for me :-)
Were all too lazy to use manual contraptions...
...well I am anyway ;o)
Interestingly enough my sister in law who has a daughter 6 weeks younger than Evie (she has 2 others) said that this time she was going to use pouches of ready made stuff as it is all organic and a lot less mess.
