despite being a chocoholic I have managed to lose 4 and a half stone in 12 months. This is my diary of the highs and lows of trying to keep the weight off (or at least under reasonable control).

new glasses
Here I am wearing my new glasses :)

Theyre good but its blurry if I look out of the side of the lens, I have been told to go back in 2 weeks if it hasnt improved by then (so I get used to my new prescription).
Nice glasses! I have been wearing the same old glasses for 12 years! They are much too expensive here and Marco can't afford any new ones for me. (Varifocals). In fact the glasses he wears himself are ones that I won for him in a competition on Facebook about 3 years ago, or else he would still be in 12 year old glasses! My reading glasses are second hand ones given by a friend, plus a pair I bought in Poundland on my last visit to the UK, but that pair are slightly too strong by 0.5!!

It was surprising how fast my eyesight deteriorated even in 2 years, so Im glad that I splashed out and got some new ones.
