despite being a chocoholic I have managed to lose 4 and a half stone in 12 months. This is my diary of the highs and lows of trying to keep the weight off (or at least under reasonable control).

emotional & then some
I was sitting there watching Being Erica this morning (it was a Christmas episode if that helps)...
...and by the end of the episode I was blubbing like anything.
The other day I was watching this show called The Big C. It is a show about this woman who found out she has cancer and has a year to live. She has a 14 year old son and she didn't tell him she had cancer, but she went out and bought him a car and a present for every thing for the rest of his life. She put it all in this storage garage. The end of season 1 ,the final show she tells the son she has cancer and is going to die. The son did not react at all. He went through her purse and found the envelope with the key to the storage shed. He goes there and finds tons of wrapped presents with cards. It finally hits him that his mom won't be around to give him these presents. He sits down and just cries. I was crying with him. It just got to me.

I've never seen it myself but I think you realise that your hormones are all over the place right now and that's perfectly normal.
I havent gotten too hormonal yet...
...LOL I am eagerly awaiting for my first bout of pregnancy related rage though ;o)
You might not feel hormonal, but it takes a lot of hormonal changes to allow your body to grow a baby! Or maybe you're just sensitive. ;)

I pity the poor person on the receiving end of that! :)
