a whole plum

I was toasting a crumpet for my breakfast this morning, and got down the jar of plum conserve (thats what its called rather than me trying to sound posh).

The crumpet eventually popped out of the toaster and I put the knife into the jar to remove enough jam conserve to cover the crumpet and ended up with a monumental amount on the knife.

When I spread the contents of the knife onto the crumpet I saw that there was a whole plum ;o)

Was I jammy or what ;o)

That's what I like too, whole fruit jam... I mean conserve :)

That's okay if you like plums, but then I guess if you didn't you wouldn't be having plum "conserve".

Eileen - it sure was nice finding a whole plum like that...

Al - funny you say that James ended up opening the jar the other day out of desperation because he had run out of his mega big jar or should I say bucket of strawberry flavoured jam ;o)

He didnt stop moaning either that it wasnt strawberry!

I have some locally produced Raspberry jam I picked up on the Isle of Wight. It's lovely, but it's only a small jar so it's nearly all gone. I can sympathise with James in that regard!
