I told Evies teacher this morning that Evies bean hasnt yet sprouted and he gave me another bean

I was hoping that he would give me five of them like Jack gets in the story, but I guess thats inflation for you :)

We will plant it when Evie gets home from school

no bean stalk no investment job and no humpty dumpty

Yesterday I finally got an e-mail regarding the investment job interview and I didnt get it...

...oh well :)

Yesterday I also picked up Evies (not even sprouted yet) bean stalk (I think that I will ask her teacher for a bean to plant in there).  Most of the others had planted save for a few so we will give it another go :).

Evie had some homework to bring in at the beginning of the week...

...it was to decorate a polystyrene egg like humpty dumpty :)

...she was supposed to bring it home with her yesterday and it wasnt in her bag, so I will ask her teacher about that too.

Its Evies last day before she breaks up for the Easter holiday so thats good :)

thirteen pounds

I weighed myself yesterday and I have lost another 2 lbs...

...so I only have another 13 lbs to go :)

And I have been able to connect and have a realtime text message chat with my friend in Texas thanks to Whatsapp :)

And its Mothers Day so happy Mothers Day Mum :)

inserview

My interview yesterday went well.

They explained the job, and it sounds like what I have done before so thats good.

And there were no "odball" questions to report on.

I will hear by the end of the week :)

Interview tomorrow

I have another interview tomorrow.

It is just a contract until the end of May - and if I get it st least it will give us a taster of how evie will be going to the breskfast/after school club.

It is with one of the big insurance companies and is doing what I used to do in my job before last.

sharing learning journal

This morning us Mums/Dads/whoever brings them to school gets to go into the classroom and Evie will share her learning journal with me :)

Evie just likes to look at her pictures in there so I doubt that I will get enough of a look to read anything :)

Still thats what parents evening is for :)
