Earlier in the week (after I had gotten my unicorn onesie), Evie had decided that she wanted a pajama onesie...
...I told her that I would have a look in town (in Primark) to see if I could get her one...
...I couldnt.
So yesterday as it was snowing again I put on my unicorn onesie and Evie wanted to wear her pajama onesie (which I couldnt get).
So today after I had finished work we went to Asda (Evie insisted that James stayed in the car).
We looked at the pajamas and found a paw patrol onesie, and then she found some flamingo pajamas too, so we got them also.
We also looked at the Easter eggs and bought one for me, Evie told me that we were going to share it after I had bought it :)
despite being a chocoholic I have managed to lose 4 and a half stone in 12 months. This is my diary of the highs and lows of trying to keep the weight off (or at least under reasonable control).

little red (nose) riding hood
On Friday it was Red Nose Day and Evies pre-school said that the kiddies could dress up for £1, the theme was something furry.
So when I woke Evie up I told her that it was a special day and that she could dress up, so I got her outfits out (including the piggy onesie that my Mum had got her) and Evie decided that she wanted to wear Little Rid Riding Hood ;o)
I had brought me & Evie a red nose each (when I opened them I was hoping that we would have a different one each so that she could chose which one she like) but we both had the astrosnort one ;o)
Today here in the UK is Mothers Day - so happy Mothers Day Mum ;o)
Evie had made me a card at pre-school - when I said to her "you made me a lovely card" she told me that it was "for Daddy" ;o)

almost bang on
As we were almost out of Reeces Puffs (our recently refitted Tesco sells them at £5 a packet) currently Evies favourite cereal although saying that this morning she turned her nose up at them! I decided to weigh myself while I was in there (so that I could be at my lightest before eating something) so I marched up to the pharmacy area at the back of the store and shock horror they dont have the scales anymore :o(
Having got a few bits I decided to pop into the side entrance of The Meadows (they tend to open the side doors for the staff to get in early) so I went to go in and my side was locked (I really couldnt be bothered to walk all the way around to the other side) so I went to find James & Evie and get something to eat and drink ;o)
After having our breakfast and getting some other bits of shopping I finally got myself weighed and was well surprised to see that I was only 3 lbs heavier than I thought that I would be ;o).
Happy Mothers Day Mum ;o)
James got me an mp3 Jackson 5 album ;o)

chucking chin chocolate chunks
When me & James get our coffees we always go for the non fat milk and sugar free syrups ;o)
Evie clearly thought that that was completely wrong ;o)
Yesterday we were having a coffee before getting some bits for our lunches and dinners before doing our big shop today...
James had a chocolate chunk shortbread with his skinny sugar free hazelnut latte, Evie was sitting on his lap and he gave her a piece of shortbread to eat...
,,,I saw a bit fall down and asked him if it went into his drink (Evie must have heard this - what Kelly said is correct ;o) not that I doubted you) and then she dropped some pieces of chocolate chunks into his drink thus replacing the sugar and fat in one foul swoop ;o)
James obviously enjoyed the chocolatyness as today he sprinkled some chocolate powder into his drink ;o).
Today is Mothers Day and Evie bought me this book and a water bottle with a detachable bottom ;o)
Ever since this years Easter Eggs have been on sale (since Boxing Day I might add) I have been on the lookout for deals on Green & Blacks eggs and today they were on sale for £4 instead of £6. I didnt really want to pay £6 so am well chuffed ;o)
And yesterday Evie took a step with her baby walker and she did a few more steps today so that James could see also ;o)

first mothers day
Here in the UK its Mothers Day or Mothering Sunday (apparently there is a difference).
Evie remembered to buy me a card and made me a bookmark out of this photo ;o)
And even typed on the back a message thanking me for all of the things I do for her ;o)
She even bought me a beautiful charm bracelet ;o)

I blame it on the bacon sandwich
I have to admit last weekend I had the munchies, and ended up scoffing a whole 150 gram bag of chocolate covered espresso beans from Holland & Barrett, they were really nice, and THEN had a big bag of crisps too.
I went and did the big shop as normal this morning and it was busier than normal because of it being Mothers Day, it wasnt Christmas busy but busier none the less.
I thought that Starbucks would be busier today too with people treating their Mums to a nice skinny cappuccino. Perhaps that could be a marketing ploy for them next year...
...I can see it now "we asked 100 Mums what they would REALLY like for Mothers Day from their useless offspring and 87.2% said all they wanted was a venti skinny latte" ;o).
I really am wasted ;o)
I weighed myself this morning and put on 2lbs, I shall blame it on eating those yummies! Were they worth it?
That is a big fat YES ;o)
