first parents evening

We have our first parents evening tonight at pre school ;o)

When I pick Evie up I always get told if she did well at stuff or not so well at anything, so Im guessing that it will just be a longer version of that.

We have got a good slot too (the second of the evening)..

Evie is allowed to come with us so thats good...

...I wonder if they will have any toys out for the kiddies to play with?

On Friday on hos home from work James asked me if I wanted him to look in Matalan for the rest of Evies school uniform.

So I said "yes please" and rattled off a whole list of what we still needed...

...he then texted me back to say that there were till issues in there and he couldnt be bothered to wait for them to sort them out.

So yesterday after doing the grocery shopping (in there I managed to get one packet of 3 polo shirts and some PE shorts), we went via Matalan and I had a look in there while James kept Evie entertained :)

So I went in there and found there school shop...

I bought her a couple more summer dresses, a couple of pairs of trousers, 6 pairs of white socks, and a couple of cardigans :)

I only have a few more bits to buy for her now :)

On Monday after we had finished Tumble Tots we walked around to Asda to see what school uniform that we could buy for Evie :)

I managed to buy her a summer school dress :)

You will be pleased to know that I managed to wait until I woke up :)

So as not to crash the Essex website I decided to check my e-mails first...

...and there waiting between metro and flickr was our school place offer...

...so what did we get?

we got our first choice :)

So today after Tumble Tots we are going to pop into Asda to buy Evie a school dress (with a zip rather than buttons) so that she can start getting used to her school uniform :).

will I or wont I

Tomorrow we find out which school Evie gets into...

...apparently the information is available from midnight tonight!

The question is am I going to be one of those parents who logs an at 12.01 tomorrow morning as I just have to know or can I wait until I get up tomorrow morning :)

I think I know that I will wait until tomorrow morning as I like having my sleep too much :)

On Tuesday we were watching tv and Evie picked up her camera and turned it on and said "say cheese" and she has been taking photos :)

We have tried to explain to her about keeping the camera still and what she sees in the screen at the back is what she gets on the photo.

She sees it as a game at the moment which is really good :)

She doesnt like it though when we try to look at the photos either...

...but I did manage to get all 165 photos off :)
