Yesterday I was thinking to myself "I wonder wen my Christmas tasting box will arrive"
Anyway I was changing Evies nappy and thought that I heard a ding (as in the doorbell) so I put Evie into her cot and looked down the stairs but couldnt see anyone and then I looked out of our bedroom window and couldnt see anyone from there either.
I didnt think anymore about it...
...then just after James got home from work the doorbell rang and it was our next door neighbour holding my package of Christmas Chocolates!
The delivery man must have been very quick to decide that there was no one home :o(

The time of a multi-drop driver is precious, especially at this time of year. Think I read somewhere once that on average they get less than 5 minutes to get from one delivery to the next and make that delivery. Fine if it's just round the corner, not so good if it's ten minutes away!
that makes sense I suppose...
...he was off looking for someone to leave it with before the doorbell even stopped ringing (in my opinion)!
Al is right there. I watched a programme on daytime telly where the driver was on CCTV hurling a package over the garden gate rather than ringing the bell and waiting. It was a specialist camera lens which broke!
